A portrait of the legendary 53-year-old Tusker, Craig. Tuskers like Craig carry a rare genetic trait that gives them their iconic, massive tusks. Craig is closely monitored and protected by Masai Warriors, who work tirelessly to ensure these majestic giants do not vanish. Having missed the opportunity to find Craig on my previous trip, I enlisted the help of Masai Warrior John, who guided us to track down and photograph this incredible legend.
