This image captures my first encounter with a polar bear during a photographic expedition to Svalbard. We spotted the young female swimming effortlessly through the icy Arctic waters before climbeding onto the pack ice and posing. The calm conditions created a perfect reflection in the still water, making this an unforgettable first photo opp.
