On this morning, we frantically searched for a subject to photograph against the extraordinary colors of the sunrise. Unlike the typical Masai Mara, we were shocked not to find an animal in sight. Just as we were about to give up, this giraffe popped its head up and greeted us—exactly what we had hoped for.
