Ndugutse – the second of three silverbacks in the famous Nyakagezi gorilla group. It’s rare to see multiple silverbacks living harmoniously together, but it’s estimated that Ndugutse will one day succeed Mark as the group's dominant leader. Not surprising, given the look he gave me as I approached him.
