A mother cheetah perched in a tree to scout the plains of Amboseli at first light. It’s rare for cheetahs to climb trees, so from a distance, I was skeptical of what the silhouette might be. When I realized it was a cheetah, I ripped my camera out from my bag and managed to 'spray and pray' a few frames. Moments later, she was back down the tree, reunited with her cubs. A lucky shot, but one I’m glad turned out.
